SMM December 29: The price of lead-acid battery polar plates (internal formation) was quoted at 19,000-19,200 yuan/mt today. Demand in the battery market remained sluggish, and battery enterprises showed weak production enthusiasm. Meanwhile, rising costs of raw materials such as lead and tin increased cost pressure for battery enterprises. However, the selling price of batteries struggled to catch up. Some enterprises planned to take holidays ranging from 1 to 5 days during the New Year's Day holiday.
