On the afternoon of November 21, 2025, the Northeast Asia Green Ship Fuel Supply Chain Alliance held its 2025 annual meeting in Dalian. Under the theme "Jointly Building a North-South Efficient Hydrogen Corridor, Unblocking a New Green Energy Channel," the meeting aimed to summarize the development achievements since the alliance's establishment, promote communication, collaboration, and coordinated development among all segments of the green ship fuel supply chain within the region, unite alliance members to build a Northeast Asia green ship fuel "production-supply-storage-transportation-sales" guarantee system, seize new opportunities in the green transformation of maritime shipping, and activate new momentum for Northeast Asia's shipping and logistics.
Achievement Showcase and New Member Accession: Alliance Vitality Continues to Rise
During the meeting, several alliance member units, including China Marine Bunker, Liaogang, and COSCO Shipping, showcased their recent work achievements and signed cooperation agreements. The meeting also featured the unveiling ceremony of the Northeast Land-Sea Corridor (Liaoning) Operation Co., Ltd. and held an accession ceremony for new members—China Merchants Energy Shipping (Northeast) Co., Ltd. and Sinopec Changjiang Fuel Co., Ltd. officially joined the alliance. The addition of new members will bring diverse and fresh perspectives to enhance the alliance's innovation and global influence, further strengthening the alliance's capabilities.
Handover of Rotating Chairmanship; Signed Projects Improve Storage and Transportation Guarantees
As the 2025 rotating chair unit of the alliance, China Energy Engineering Group Hydrogen Energy Co., Ltd. completed the handover of duties with the 2026 rotating chair unit, Liaoning Port Group, ensuring a smooth transition and continuous advancement of the alliance's work. Additionally, China Energy Engineering Group Hydrogen Energy Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony with Jiangsu Andefu Energy Development Co., Ltd. and Panjin Port Group Co., Ltd. for the Panjin Port Green Ammonia Storage Tank Project. The implementation of this project will further improve the storage and transportation guarantee segment for green ammonia within the Northeast Asia green ship fuel supply chain, laying a solid infrastructure foundation for the large-scale application of green ammonia fuel.
Multiple Representatives Attend, Discussing Green Shipping Development
Invited representatives from the Liaoning Provincial People's Government, the Water Transport Bureau of the Ministry of Transport, Dalian Customs, Liaoning Maritime Safety Administration, Shanghai Port Group Energy Company, China Classification Society Dalian Branch, municipal governments along the Liaoning coast, Dalian Maritime University, Shenyang University of Technology, and other units, along with representatives from alliance member units, jointly attended the meeting. Gao Wancai, Executive Deputy General Manager of the Market Development Department of China Energy Engineering Corporation; Zhang Jihua, Deputy Party Secretary and Executive Deputy General Manager of the Northern Regional Headquarters; Zhou Liang, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of the Northern Regional Headquarters; Liu Dawei, Deputy General Manager of the Hydrogen Energy Company; and staff from relevant units participated in the meeting to discuss major plans for the development of the Northeast Asia green ship fuel supply chain.
