On October 28, Gemyi New Energy Co., Ltd. issued the fourth extension notice for the EPC tender of the new energy section of the Chayouqianqi Wind and Solar Power Hydrogen Production Integration Project (Phase I). According to previously disclosed information, the tender for the EPC contract of the new energy section had already been extended three times on September 11, September 15, and October 9, with the bidding process continuously delayed.
It is noteworthy that the tender for the hydrogen production section's complete equipment procurement also faced adjustments. On September 26, this part of the tender was abruptly suspended due to "project cancellation requiring re-tendering." However, as of now, the secondary tender documents have not been finalized, and the progress of the hydrogen production segment has also been affected.
Based on the previously released tender documents, the Gemyi Chayouqianqi Wind and Solar Power Hydrogen Production Integration Project is planned to adopt an off-grid hydrogen production method, utilizing 50 MW of wind power for hydrogen production. The new energy section has an installed capacity of 50 MW of wind power (equipped with eight 6.25 MW wind turbines), and the initial scale of the ESS is 5 MW/20 MWh. The hydrogen production section will install 36 sets of 250 Nm³/h PEM hydrogen production complete equipment (including separation and purification), IGBT rectifier power supply complete equipment (including power transformers), and an integrated green electricity hydrogen production regulation platform. The rated hydrogen production capacity of the water electrolysis hydrogen production unit is 9,000 Nm³/h, with a maximum hydrogen production capacity of 10,800 Nm³/h.
