Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chinese automaker Great Wall Motor ("GWM") recently reported its best-ever Sept. sales performance of 133,639 vehicles, indicating a 23.29% year-on-year increase.
In September, GWM's new energy vehicle (NEV) sales amounted to 45,961 units, surging 52.55% from a year earlier. Meanwhile, sales of models priced above 200,000 yuan reached 36,195 units last month, jumping 28.8% year on year.
Regarding performance in overseas markets, GWM saw its monthly export volume reach 50,269 units in September, representing a 13.98% rise from a year ago.
Among brands, only Great Wall Pick-up posted a year-on-year decline with 12,901 vehicles (-10.76% YoY) sold in September. HAVAL topped all brands with a sales volume of 81,923 units, which jumped 30.24% over the previous year. WEY was credited the fastest-growing one with its September sales zooming up 63.23% year on year to 11,026 units. In addition, ORA and TANK brands both logged a year-on-year growth of around 14%, selling 6,255 units and 21,441 units last month, respectively.
Over the first three quarters of 2025, GWM saw its total sales rise 8.15% over a year earlier to 923,358 units, which included 278,463 NEVs.
