Meanwhile, as lead prices rose, sales promotions in the wholesale battery market decreased. The current price for the main model 48V20Ah is 400 yuan per set. Manufacturers in Jiangsu indicated that the peak season performance of the e-bike lead-acid battery market was average, with dealers purchasing cautiously. To avoid inventory accumulation, plant operating rates were maintained at 70-80%, and raw material lead was primarily procured through long-term contracts. Manufacturers in Anhui noted a relative improvement in demand for e-bike lead-acid batteries, mainly driven by orders for complete vehicle supporting. Current plant operating rates are above 90%, with raw material lead purchased as needed.
