On August 19, the winning bid result for the hydrogen production equipment and supporting procurement project (Package Two) of PowerChina's 200MW PV power generation project in ZaoYang, XiangYang City, Hubei Province, was announced.
The results showed that Sany Hydrogen Co., Ltd. was the winning bidder.
According to the tender announcement, the hydrogen production equipment and supporting equipment procurement project for the 200MW PV power generation project in ZaoYang, XiangYang City, Hubei Province, is located in ZaoYang City, Hubei Province. It follows an integrated development model of PV plus water electrolysis for hydrogen production, including a 200MW PV power generation project and a 4,200 Nm³/h water electrolysis for hydrogen production project.
The scale of the water electrolysis for hydrogen production project is 4,200 Nm³/h, with plans to select internationally advanced 1,000 Nm³/h water electrolysis for hydrogen production equipment and 200 Nm³/h PEM hydrogen production equipment. The proposed site is located within the Chengnan Chemical Industrial Park in ZaoYang City, Hubei Province. By consuming off-peak electricity, hydrogen will be produced through water electrolysis. The produced hydrogen will be transported via pipelines to hydrogen-consuming enterprises within the industrial park, and any excess hydrogen will be transported by tank trucks to other hydrogen-consuming enterprises in XiangYang City. The power supply for hydrogen production will use the 10kV power supply from the nearby chemical industrial park. Five sets of electrolyzer systems can operate alternately as needed. The power supply system, compressors, oxygen purification and compression equipment, etc., will be expanded after the hydrogen consumption reaches the expected level.
Scope of tender: Package 2 includes 3*1,000 Nm³/h conventional alkaline cell equipment and its ancillary equipment, covering the design, manufacture, inspection, packaging, insurance, transportation, delivery, acceptance (including archival acceptance), on-site commissioning, on-site installation guidance, preparation and submission of technical documents, training of operating personnel, and maintenance and upkeep during the warranty period, as well as spare parts and special tools. It should be noted that all equipment and instruments within the scope of supply, whether specified or not in the contract, are part of the bidder's supply scope if they are required for the safety of the system or the quality of the hydrogen output. The bidder shall provide them unconditionally. Delivery period: 100 calendar days after the signing of the contract. This tender does not accept bids from agents or consortia.
