Today, the SMM #1 lead average price remained basically flat at 16,675 yuan/mt compared to yesterday. Suppliers of secondary refined lead showed low enthusiasm for selling, with quotations remaining largely unchanged from yesterday. Mainstream tax-excluded ex-works cargoes were quoted at 15,650-15,750 yuan/mt; mainstream tax-inclusive quotations against the SMM #1 lead average price were at premiums of 0~+50 yuan/mt ex-works, while some self-picked up cargoes from production sites were at a discount of 20 yuan/mt. Downstream battery producers made purchases based on rigid demand, and the trading of refined lead was sluggish. The purchasing sentiment for secondary refined lead today was 0.65, and the selling sentiment was 0.92 (historical data can be accessed by logging into the database).
