From August 8, 2025 to August 14, 2025, the weekly operating rate of secondary lead in four provinces tracked by SMM was 40.97%, down by 0.14 percentage points WoW.
This week, the operating situation of secondary lead smelters remained relatively stable, basically flat compared to the previous week. Production at some enterprises fluctuated slightly with the arrivals of raw materials, leading to a slight decline in the regional operating rate. Additionally, there were no new updates on the environmental protection incident in Anhui Province, and production at enterprises remained unchanged. Currently, lead prices are fluctuating rangebound, and there has been no significant improvement in the operating rate of downstream enterprises. The production enthusiasm of secondary lead smelters is poor, and it is expected that the operating rate of secondary lead will remain moderately low next week.
