Today, the SMM #1 lead average price remained flat compared to last Friday at 16,725 yuan/mt. The quantity of quotations from suppliers of secondary refined lead was average, and the sentiment for selling was moderate. In the morning, ex-factory cargoes without tax were quoted at 15,700-15,800 yuan/mt. Mainstream tax-included quotations were quoted at premiums of 0-50 yuan/mt against the SMM #1 lead average price for ex-factory delivery, with individual traders offering cargoes self-picked up from production site at discounts of 25 yuan/mt for self pick-up. It is reported that downstream battery producers prefer to purchase spot orders from the primary lead market, and the transaction situation of secondary lead varies by region, with the east China market performing slightly better than the central and southern China markets.
