Today, the SMM #1 lead average price fell by 25 yuan/mt from yesterday to 16,725 yuan/mt. Suppliers of secondary refined lead offered limited quotations, with a general sentiment for cargo sales. Currently, ex-factory cargoes without tax are quoted at 15,700-15,850 yuan/mt. Mainstream tax-included quotations are quoted at premiums of 0-25 yuan/mt against the SMM #1 lead average price for ex-factory delivery, with some traders offering small discounts for cargoes self-picked up from production site. Downstream battery producers have weak purchase willingness, and spot orders for necessary restocking lean towards the primary lead market.
