Supported by these rising costs, the price of LCO has risen recently. On the supply side, cathode plants continue to adhere to a sales-based production strategy, with relatively sufficient inventory of raw materials and products. On the demand side, growth has been observed, driven by the end-use market. Overall, under the upward pressure of Co3O4 and lithium carbonate prices, LCO may experience a more significant cost-driven price increase in the future.
