Today, the SMM #1 lead average price fell by 100 yuan/mt from yesterday to 16,600 yuan/mt. Suppliers of secondary refined lead had varying sentiments regarding selling, with those not selling choosing to offer a premium of 100-300 yuan/mt (or not quoting prices) against the SMM #1 lead average price, while those selling offered a premium of 0-50 yuan/mt against the SMM #1 lead average price. The main price for tax-excluded cargo was 15,650 yuan/mt. Downstream buyers had a strong wait-and-see sentiment, and the market for spot orders of secondary refined lead had limited transactions.
