British Solar Renewables (BSR) has entered a 15-year route-to-market power purchase agreement (PPA) with energy trading company ElectroRoute for 462 MWp of solar capacity across the UK. The agreement covers nine solar farms with a combined annual output of approximately 482 GWh, enough to power about 130,000 homes. ElectroRoute will provide continuous trading services to optimize the performance and efficiency of BSR's solar farms, contributing to stronger financial returns.
This deal significantly enhances BSR's operational portfolio and supports the UK's transition to net-zero emissions. With this addition, ElectroRoute's global portfolio now exceeds 3 GW, spanning the UK, Ireland, and Japan, building on a previous 61-MW PPA signed with Innova Renewables in June.
