In accordance with the "Administrative Measures for Science and Technology Special Projects in Xicheng District, Beijing," the Xicheng Park Administrative Committee (District Science and Technology Commission) organized an expert review meeting for the final evaluation of science and technology special projects on June 10. On June 13, the committee issued the "Announcement on the Final Evaluation of Science and Technology Innovation Projects under the Xicheng District Science and Technology Special Program." Among the 11 projects in the district, the "Key Technology Research and Application of Renewable Energy Water Electrolysis Hydrogen Production System" project, undertaken by China Energy Engineering Group North China Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd., successfully passed the review.
The "Key Technology Research and Application of Renewable Energy Water Electrolysis Hydrogen Production System" project integrated the entire production simulation and techno-economic evaluation models of wind and solar power generation, power transmission and transformation, hydrogen production and storage, and green hydrogen chemical applications. It innovatively employed heuristic algorithms to compare, select, and optimize solutions, and developed a digital simulation platform for wind and solar power hydrogen production system matching. This achieved the comprehensive system construction and optimal configuration of renewable energy hydrogen production and its utilization.
The district's science and technology special projects aim to implement national policies and Beijing's relevant science and technology policies, addressing the economic and social development needs of Xicheng District. These projects are organized and implemented by the District Science and Technology and Information Bureau through open solicitation, expert review, and selective support procedures. The "Key Technology Research and Application of Renewable Energy Water Electrolysis Hydrogen Production System" project successfully applied for the Xicheng District Science and Technology Special Program in 2024.
