The most-traded SHFE lead 2506 contract opened at 16,905 yuan/mt today. The spot market remained "stable" as usual, with low trading activity for lead ingots. The SHFE lead contract fluctuated rangebound around the daily average line, closing at 16,900 yuan/mt, up 0.33%, with an open interest of 16,764, forming a doji candlestick. Currently, the most-traded SHFE lead contract has undergone a contract rollover, with the open interest of the SHFE lead 2507 contract at 35,294. The instability of the international economic environment has a significant impact on the prices of non-ferrous metals. Based on the current spot market performance, there is currently no significant upward momentum for SHFE lead.
