Polaris ESS Network learned that on May 15, a tender plan was announced for the 200MW independent new-type energy storage project in the eastern part of Yuzhou City, Xuchang City, Henan Province.
The tender announcement is planned to be released in June 2025, with an estimated investment of 510 million yuan. The project overview includes the construction of a new 200MW/400MWh (Phase I) ESS power station, a 3,200㎡ business building, and supporting infrastructure such as business buildings, power transformation and distribution equipment, water supply and drainage, and fire-fighting equipment, as well as roads, hardening, greening works, fences, gates, and outdoor comprehensive pipe networks within the project area.
