On April 25, Guangdong Energy Group Guangdong Electric Power Development Co., Ltd. announced the shortlisted candidates for the first batch of PV module procurement in 2025. Three companies were shortlisted: Hunan Redsolar New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., DAS solar New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and Huansheng PV (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., with bid unit prices ranging from 0.68 to 0.73 yuan/W.
The tender announcement indicated that the project was the first batch of concentrated procurement of PV modules for Guangdong Electric Power Development Co., Ltd. in 2025, covering two PV projects invested and constructed by Guangdong Electric Power Development Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries, divided into two sections. Section 1 was tentatively set at 67MW, and Section 2 was tentatively set at 40MW.
Scope of tender: This module procurement includes monocrystalline double-sided double-glass solar PV modules, as well as supporting PV cable connectors, spare parts, special tools, and technical services for the two projects. The section division and requirements are as follows:
Delivery time requirement: May to June, 2025.
This project is divided into two sections, with one bid winner to be determined for each section. Companies can participate in and win bids for multiple sections simultaneously.
