DMC Spot Price Drops Another 700 Yuan/mt, Approaching the 11,000 Yuan/mt Threshold [SMM Analysis]

SMM Analysis: DMC Spot Price Drops by 700 yuan/mt, Transaction Price Approaches 11,000 yuan/mt Threshold. According to SMM, the domestic DMC transaction price dropped to around 11,500 yuan/mt today, with the average price down by 1,000 yuan/mt compared to the beginning of the week. The online store of a Shandong monomer enterprise recently opened with a DMC offer of 11,800 yuan/mt, down 700 yuan/mt from the previous session. Today, other domestic monomer enterprises began to lower their DMC quotations. As of now, the mainstream quotations in the market have dropped to around 12,000 yuan/mt, with transaction prices even falling to 11,500 yuan/mt, and downstream enterprises' intended order-taking prices have dropped to 11,000 yuan/mt.

Today, the prices of DMC and some silicone products in the market began to plummet again, with mainstream transaction prices dropping by around 800 yuan/mt. Monomer enterprises, after lowering prices since the beginning of the week, still saw poor order-taking. Today, enterprises chose to further reduce prices to attract orders, with market open quotations down by around 700 yuan/mt. If the order volume is large, the transaction price can still be negotiated. According to statistics, the average price of silicone DMC this week has dropped by 1,950 yuan/mt WoW, marking the fastest decline in recent years. The current price support remains limited, and there is still a risk of further price declines. Some enterprises' psychological expectations have dropped to 11,000 yuan/mt, the lowest in recent years.
