Manufacturers in Jiangxi reported weak domestic sales in the automotive battery market, coupled with a significant ratio between domestic and international lead prices, which is unfavorable for battery exports. To avoid inventory accumulation, the current factory operating rate is around 75%, and raw material lead is purchased as needed. Manufacturers in Hebei reported average overall demand in the automotive battery market, with finished battery inventory gradually accumulating. The current factory operating rate is above 90%. If inventory continues to rise, there may be a production cut plan for battery production in April.
