SMM Daily Review: Metals Mostly Rise, SHFE Copper and Rebar Gain Over 1%, Silicon Metal Records Two Consecutive Gains, European Container Freight Rises Over 3%
By the close of the day, domestic base metals showed mixed performance. SHFE lead, SHFE tin, and SHFE nickel all declined, with SHFE tin down 0.46%, SHFE nickel down 0.2%, and SHFE lead down 0.11%. SHFE copper led the gains with a 1.17% increase, while other metals saw minor fluctuations, with alumina main contract up 0.1%. Additionally, lithium carbonate main contract rose 0.33%, silicon metal main contract gained 1.63%, marking two consecutive gains. Polysilicon main contract increased by 0.47%. European container freight main contract surged 3.58%.
