SMM, March 4: Today, rare earth market prices continued to fluctuate slightly. Specifically, the price of Pr-Nd oxide was adjusted to 439,000-442,000 yuan/mt, dysprosium oxide slightly decreased to 1.69-1.71 million yuan/mt, while terbium oxide continued to rise to 6.55-6.6 million yuan/mt. Gadolinium oxide prices were slightly adjusted to 163,000-165,000 yuan/mt, holmium oxide prices remained stable at 464,000-470,000 yuan/mt, and erbium oxide prices stayed steady at 295,000-299,000 yuan/mt.
In terms of metals, Pr-Nd alloy dropped to 539,000-543,000 yuan/mt, and dysprosium-iron alloy also decreased to 1.65-1.67 million yuan/mt. Meanwhile, terbium metal continued to rise to 8.13-8.18 million yuan/mt. Gadolinium-iron prices fell to 159,000-160,000 yuan/mt, while lanthanum-cerium metal slightly declined to 16,500-18,500 yuan/mt. Overall, the rare earth market saw a relatively sluggish trading atmosphere today. Some traders actively offered goods at lower prices, while separation plants maintained firm quotations. However, with more low-priced goods being offered by traders, high-price transactions became more difficult. Metal plants adjusted their quotations downward following oxide price trends, magnetic material enterprises showed low purchase willingness, and market sentiment remained cautious.
