On February 14, 2025, the nationwide port nickel ore inventory continued destocking by 1.2 million wmt compared to February 7, reaching 79.66 million wmt. The total equivalent metal content was 62,560 mt in metal content. In the Philippines, the main mining areas in the south remained in the rainy season with poor weather conditions. Currently, there were fewer offers from Philippine mines this week, and it is expected that subsequent port arrivals of Philippine nickel ore will see limited growth. On the downstream side, just-in-time procurement by nickel pig iron plants still exists, and port inventory remains focused on destocking.
