SMM reported on February 11: Today, the SMM 1# lead average price increased by 25 yuan/mt from the previous day to 16,950 yuan/mt. During the early trading session, mainstream ex-factory quotations for secondary refined lead were quoted at discounts of 100-0 yuan/mt against the SMM 1# lead price, with individual sources quoted at premiums of 25 yuan/mt upon arrival. Mainstream ex-factory quotations for tax-free refined lead were in the range of 15,900-16,000 yuan/mt. Due to weak purchase willingness from downstream battery producers, suppliers gradually loosened their quotations.
