SMM February 8 News:
After the Chinese New Year holiday, the iron phosphate market prices remained stable. According to industry observations, due to the anticipated suspension of logistics before the holiday, iron phosphate producers adopted proactive stockpiling strategies, effectively avoiding raw material shortages. As a result, despite the suspension of logistics services during the holiday, there was no significant impact on iron phosphate production.
It is reported that during the holiday, most iron phosphate producers maintained normal production to ensure continuous market supply. Meanwhile, some enterprises utilized the holiday period for equipment maintenance and temporary shutdowns, preparing adequately for post-holiday resumption of production. With the end of the holiday, these enterprises have gradually resumed production and are actively supplying downstream customers as planned.
During the Chinese New Year holiday, the prices of raw materials, industrial ammonium and phosphoric acid, also remained relatively stable, providing strong support for the steady operation of the iron phosphate market. Although downstream demand did not undergo significant adjustments after the holiday, iron phosphate producers continued stable supply as planned, reflecting the maturity and stability of the industry.
Anticipating the suspension of logistics during the holiday, many enterprises made sufficient inventory preparations in advance. This strategy not only alleviated the pressure caused by the logistics suspension but also ensured stable market supply during and after the holiday.
Overall, the iron phosphate market demonstrated strong stability and resilience during and after the Chinese New Year holiday. With the holiday now over, the market is expected to gradually return to normal, and the supply-demand relationship for iron phosphate is expected to remain stable.
