[SMM Analysis] Cobalt Intermediate Product Prices Remained Stable During the Week
Jan 16, 2025, at 4:12 pm
[SMM Analysis: Cobalt Intermediate Product Prices Remain Stable This Week]
This week, cobalt intermediate product prices remained stable.
Supply side, the overall spot cargo availability in the market is currently sufficient. Demand side, due to limited transactions of cobalt-related products and the approach of year-end holidays, actual market procurement demand has declined.
Market-wise, raw material prices remain high, and the spot market is primarily dominated by long-term contract deliveries, resulting in relatively small fluctuations in spot prices.
Next week, as year-end logistics and transportation are expected to come to a halt, the spot trading atmosphere may become even more subdued, and spot prices are expected to remain relatively stable.
