This week, power battery cell prices slightly decreased. According to SMM data, the price of 100Ah prismatic LFP battery cells was 0.36 yuan/Wh, and the price of 6-series prismatic ternary battery cells was 0.505 yuan/Wh. Supply side, the production schedules of battery cell manufacturers in January were all adjusted downward, leading to a slight decline in battery cell production schedules for the month. Demand side, due to the Chinese New Year holiday and the impending end of the NEV trade-in policy, consumers mostly adopted a wait-and-see attitude. As a result, overall vehicle sales in January declined, and end-user demand for battery cell procurement weakened. Power battery Pack prices also showed a slight decrease, with the price of prismatic LFP Pack batteries at 0.56 yuan/Wh and the price of 6-series prismatic ternary Pack batteries at 0.68 yuan/Wh.
