Beijing (Gasgoo)- On October 25, autonomous driving tech company WeRide debuted on the Nasdaq under the ticker “WRD,” with an initial public offering price at $15.50 per American Depositary Share (ADS).
Assuming full exercise of the underwriters’ overallotment option, WeRide will issue a total of 8,903,760 ADSs. Combined with a previously disclosed $320 million private placement, WeRide’s fundraising could reach $458.5 million.
Founded in 2017, WeRide provides a broad spectrum of autonomous driving solutions from L2 to L4. Its product lineup includes Robotaxi, Robobus, Robovan, Robosweeper, and Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), catering to various applications in smart mobility, logistics, and urban cleaning.
Currently, WeRide holds autonomous driving permits in China, the UAE, Singapore, and the United States, and operates in over 30 cities across seven countries. With more than 1,700 days of operation, the company has amassed substantial experience in research, testing, and commercial deployment of autonomous technology globally.
