Today, the average price of SMM 1# lead dropped by 100 yuan/mt compared to yesterday, reaching 17,075 yuan/mt. The mainstream ex-factory tax-included prices of secondary refined lead saw a narrower discount which ranged from 300 to 50 yuan/mt against the average price of SMM 1# lead.
Today's mainstream ex-factory tax-excluded prices of refined lead were reported at 15,900-16,000 yuan/mt. With the decline in lead prices, most downstream enterprises adopted a wait-and-see attitude, with cautious procurement for rigid demand. However, some enterprises took advantage of the low prices to purchase. Today, refined lead transactions improved compared to yesterday.
