Beijing (Gasgoo)- At the recent electronica China exhibition, Chinese automotive supplier Desay SV and global semiconductor leader Texas Instruments (TI) jointly launched the next-generation high-performance CRD03P corner radar.

Desay SV also introduced a series of sensor products, including the FRD02 cascaded imaging radar, FRD03 forward-facing millimeter-wave radar, and CRD03E corner radar, aimed at providing superior perception capabilities for advanced intelligent driving in full-scenario urban NOA (Navigate on Autopilot).

The CRD03P corner radar is designed to meet the needs of L2+ intelligent driving, capable of outputting point cloud data in speed, azimuth, pitch, and distance dimensions. It supports simultaneous output of 512 point clouds and 64 targets, with a detection range of up to 200 meters and an ultra-wide 160° field of view (FOV). This enables comprehensive, all-weather, wide-area stable detection for advanced intelligent driving functions. The product utilizes TI's AWR2944 solution and leverages Desay SV's integrated R&D and manufacturing capabilities for full-stack in-house development of both software and hardware.

To meet differentiated configuration needs, Desay SV also released a CRD03E corner radar, which features low cost, compact size, and lightweight design.

Desay SV and TI’s new generation of forward-facing radar products achieve significant breakthroughs in detection range and accuracy. The FRD02 forward-facing radar employs dual-chip cascading technology, maximizing MCU performance with limited resources. Utilizing a spatial division angle measurement algorithm, it achieves 1-degree resolution in both horizontal and vertical directions and supports the output of 1024 high-precision point clouds.

The concurrently released FRD03 forward-facing radar boasts a detection range of up to 300 meters and a 120-degree wide FOV, supporting high-precision output of 512 point clouds. It excels in target recognition, tracking complex motion trajectories, and delivering high-precision information, enabling advanced intelligent driving perception in complex urban NOA scenarios.
