Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On June 20, GAC AION revealed the interior images of the second-generation AION V.
The overall design is minimalist, featuring a dual-spoke multifunction steering wheel, a narrow-strip LCD instrument cluster, and a large floating central control screen, creating a strong technological atmosphere. It supports connectivity with HarmonyOS, Android, and iOS systems.
As a family-oriented SUV, the new model's driver and front passenger seats features an 8-point massage function covering the back and waist, offering 3 intensity levels and 5 modes. Additionally, it comes equipped with an in-car refrigerator (with an independent compressor, capable of -15°C to 50°C), 7kW external discharge, 9 speakers, and an electric sunshade.
This car offers a front-row one-touch recline function, which, is combined with an inflatable mattress, easily transforms into a fully cushioned large bed. It also comes standard with 7kW V2L (vehicle-to-load) function for convenient outdoor power use.
Built on the AEP platform dedicated to battery electric vehicles, the second-generation AION V adopts a new design concept inspired by the classic vitality totem of the Tyrannosaurus rex. It measures 4,605 mm in length, 1,854 (or 1,876) mm in width, 1,660 (or 1686) mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,775 mm.
The vehicle boasts advanced intelligent driving capabilities, including hardware such as the NVIDIA Orin-X chip, high-thread laser radar, 5 millimeter-wave radars, and 11 vision cameras, without relying on high-precision maps.
In terms of performance, the second-generation AION V is equipped with a 150kW permanent magnet synchronous motor and a lithium iron phosphate battery, offering a range of up to 750 km. It features the GAC AION's self-developed second-generation ITS2.0 intelligent temperature control system and supports 400V + 3C fast charging, achieving 370 km of range with a 15-minute charge.
