Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On April 9, Chinese power battery giant CATL signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with Digital Sustainable Transport New Energy Vehicle Service Network ("DST"), a Chinese leading provider of digital and intelligent operation services for new energy logistics vehicles, according to a post on CATL's WeChat account.
Under the agreement, the two parties will engage in deep collaboration in areas such as the electrification of urban delivery vehicles, innovative product development, business model innovation, and market branding. They will also work closely in expanding overseas business, regional electrification, vehicle insurance, innovative finance, and after-sales services. CATL will provide DST with cutting-edge power battery products and services to substantially enhance DST's product quality and service operational efficiency. Together, they aim to build a high-quality new energy logistics vehicle ecosystem and accelerate the comprehensive electrification of new energy logistics.
Founded in 2015, DST is a global leader in digitalized operational services for new energy logistics vehicles. As of March 1, 2024, DST has deployed and operated over 110,000 new energy logistics vehicles in various types, including vans, light-duty trucks, and refrigerated vehicles. Its service network covers 200 cities including Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chengdu. With the signing of this agreement, CATL and DST will work hand in hand to provide more efficient and environmentally friendly zero-carbon logistics vehicle solutions, supporting the high-quality development of China's green logistics industry.
