Beijing (Gasgoo)- On March 13, Dongfeng Motor Corporation signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Automotive Technology and Research Center Co., Ltd. (CATARC) to deepen their collaboration in various areas.
The upgraded cooperation encompasses technology R&D, product innovation, brand building, green and low-carbon development, and international expansion. The partnership aims to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the automotive industry, while strengthening and optimizing the development of Chinese automotive brands.
In addition, Dongfeng Motor Corporation also signed a "Brand Joint Laboratory Co-Construction Agreement" with China Auto Information Technology (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. The joint laboratory will focus on targeted research topics related to user demand insights, technology brand building, quality brand building, and brand internationalization.
Furthermore, Dongfeng Motor Corporation's R&D Institute inaugurated the "New Energy Joint Innovation Laboratory" in cooperation with China Automotive Research Institute New Energy Vehicle Inspection Center (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. The joint laboratory will facilitate comprehensive exchanges and cooperation in areas such as basic research, common technology, cutting-edge technology, engineering evaluation, and product consistency control.
