Beijing (Gasgoo)- On March 7, Chinese new energy vehicle maker Leapmotor and LiDAR solution provider Hesai Technology officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Hangzhou.
Leveraging Hesai's next-generation high-performance LiDAR products, Leapmotor aims to advance the R&D and application of intelligent products across multiple new vehicle models, fostering a top-tier intelligent driving experience through close collaboration.
The partnership between Hesai Technology and Leapmotor started at the end of 2021. Currently, multiple vehicle models in Leapmotor's C product series are equipped with Hesai's AT128 high-definition long-range LiDAR.
Recently, their first collaborative model, the C10, officially hit the market, introducing LiDAR, a high-end perception hardware, into the 160,000-yuan mainstream consumer market.
Additionally, Leapmotor's advanced NAP (Navigation Assist Pilot) function will cover both highway and urban expressway scenarios. The NAP system also features high-level intelligent driving capabilities such as NAC (Navigation Assisted Cruise), with planned future upgrades to cover urban NAP intelligent driving, providing users with L3 smart driving experiences.
