In November 2023, China's PV glass exports hit 298,700 mt, up 1.94% MoM and 46.40% YoY. January-November exports totaled 3.259 million mt, up 60.24% YoY. Vietnam was the top recipient in November with 81,300 mt, down 11.69% MoM.
In November, Vietnam was China's largest PV glass export market with 71,800 mt, down 11.69% MoM. The top five destinations were Vietnam, India, Thailand, the US (now 4th), and Malaysia, unchanged in rank. South Korea rose to 6th, followed by Mexico, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Australia. Together, the top five made up 71.97% of total exports, down slightly MoM.
November saw Vietnam's PV glass imports from China drop 11.69% to 71,800 mt, 24.05% of China's total exports. India's imports jumped 42.03% to 54,400 mt, 18.21% of the total. Thailand imported 39,200 mt, 13.11% of the total, down 7,600 MoM. US imports surged 62.96% to 35,200 mt, 11.80% of the total. Malaysia imported 14,300 mt, 4.80% of the total, ranking fifth. South Korea increased imports by 3,300 mt to 10,700 mt, 3.59% of the total, climbing to sixth place.
