Bachelor's degree or above in Economics, Metallurgy, Materials Science, Mining Engineering, Financial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 8 years of solid analytical, reporting, or pricing experience in global commodity markets, the metals/mining industry, or top-tier industrial consulting firms. Depth in one or more of lithium, iron ore, aluminium, or coal is highly valued.
Native or near-native fluency in English, enabling high-stakes commercial negotiations and senior-level interviews.
Possess an established, high-value personal network of senior contacts and key decision-makers within the Australian metals, mining, or broader commodity supply chain.
Deep knowledge of international pricing principles (e.g., IOSCO regulations), with a proven track record of applying editorial judgement and defending pricing methodologies during high-pressure or anomalous market sessions.
Advanced competencies in mathematical modeling, supply-demand forecasting, and econometric analysis, with experience guiding the deployment of AI-driven analytical models.
Excellent public speaking and thought leadership capabilities, with documented experience chairing industry panels, delivering keynotes, or presenting at international conferences.
Based in Perth or Sydney with valid Australian work rights. Remote work arrangement.
