Responsabilidades del puesto

  • Drive international and localized revenue growth for SMM’s flagship commodities summits, exhibitions, and webinars in Indonesia and global by securing high-value corporate sponsorships and delegate registrations.
  • Run a high-volume, performance-driven sales motion, turning historical data, marketing leads, and proactive industry mapping into high-converting event pipelines.
  • Conduct rigorous outbound prospecting via targeted cold calling, structured social selling (e.g., LinkedIn, WhatsApp), and professional networking to pitch custom event packages to cross-border metals, mining, and recycling executives.
  • Diagnose marketing and branding objectives of target sponsors, designing and selling tailored commercial packages (including booth spaces, speaking slots, and branding rights) that maximize their ROI.
  • Establish and expand a robust network of local Indonesian mine owners, smelter operators, logistics providers, and regulatory stakeholders to secure their premium attendance and long-term event loyalty.
  • Maintain absolute pipeline discipline within the internal CRM system, managing conversions, tracking payment collections, and hitting escalating monthly sales targets leading up to event deadlines.
  • Coordinate closely with event production, marketing, and analyst teams to ensure sponsor deliverables are executed flawlessly and aligned with the overarching event theme.
  • Spearhead on-site re-booking initiatives and client hospitality during live events, leveraging face-to-face engagements to pre-close accounts for future regional summits.

Requisitos del puesto

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in International Business, Marketing, Communications, Mining/Metallurgy, or a related field.
  • Professional fluency in both written and spoken English and Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) is mandatory to drive local and regional commercial deals; professional proficiency in Mandarin is highly advantageous to effectively interface with China-backed industrial investors in Indonesia.
  • Proven track record of B2B sales experience, Initial understanding of or strong willingness to master the Indonesian metals, mining, and industrial supply chain ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated "hunter" mentality with a verifiable history of thriving in high-activity, time-sensitive sales environments and a strong resilience to rejection.
  • Excellent negotiation, closing, and communication skills, with a highly disciplined approach to managing high-volume pipelines under strict timelines.
  • Proficient in using standard CRM systems and modern sales tools to optimize call cadences and conversion metrics.
