In the ternary precursor business, the company focuses on expanding the high-end product market. Regarding ternary cathode materials, the company focuses on high-profit segments such as small power applications, planning shipments to exceed 35,000 tons in 2026 and 60,000 tons in 2028. At the same time, the company is actively positioning itself in next-generation battery material technologies. High-nickel, ultra-high-nickel ternary cathode materials, and lithium-rich manganese-based cathode materials are considered the mainstream research directions for future solid-state batteries. The company has teamed up with Ningbo Eastern University of Technology and the academician team of Sun Xueliang to promote the industrialization of related technologies.

Recently, the commissioning ceremony for Hubei Sentery New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.'s annual 50,000-ton lithium battery recycling anode material project was held in the Dongbao Industrial Park. It is reported that this project was jointly constructed by Hubei Sentery New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Huasheng Lianying New Energy Materials Co., Ltd., building two high-performance, multi-type graphite anode material recycling production lines. Upon reaching full production capacity, this project will significantly boost the improvement of the new energy and new materials industrial layout in Dongbao and strengthen the industrial cluster.

The Fuyang Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment in Anhui Province published a pre-approval notice for the environmental impact report of an Anhui company’s retired lithium battery material resource recycling and regeneration project. The total investment is 230.51 million yuan, and the site is in the Taihe Economic Development Zone. The project will construct a lithium battery dismantling workshop, a comprehensive utilization workshop, raw material and finished product warehouses, and other facilities. Primarily engaged in lithium battery recycling, echelon utilization, processing, and dismantling, the project will achieve an annual treatment capacity of 20,000 tons of waste lithium batteries after completion.

A Hubei company’s official website released the first environmental impact assessment announcement for its retired lithium battery comprehensive utilization project. The project will be located in the Economic Development Zone of Dawu County, Xiaogan City, Hubei Province. It will feature fully automatic precise dismantling and cathode material regeneration and repair production lines, procuring complete sets of equipment for cell precision disassembly, powder separation, material purification, and material regeneration and repair. Upon completion, it will process 40,000 tons of waste LFP batteries annually and produce 20,000 tons of regenerated and repaired battery cathode materials each year.
