He stated that in the past two years, the Chinese government, in accordance with international legal documents such as the conventions on the prohibition of nuclear proliferation and weapons of mass destruction, as well as the management catalog of dual-use items established by these conventions, has introduced measures to strengthen export controls on rare and scattered metals such as indium, germanium, and gallium.
