On March 26, the signing ceremony for the cooperation between Nanning Industrial Investment Group and Shanghai Dinghao New Material Technology Co., Ltd., along with the unveiling ceremony of Nanning Dinghao New Material Technology Co., Ltd., was held at the Chanto Aluminum-Based New Materials Xingning Industrial Park. Shanghai Dinghao New Materials is expected to invest 500 million yuan to build in Nanning a base project with an annual capacity of 60,000 mt of high-performance carbon-coated aluminum foil for new energy batteries.

On March 20, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the environmental impact assessment approval process for construction projects, the Jiujiang Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment planned to accept the environmental impact assessment documents for the "Ruichang City Lithium New Energy Battery Material Regeneration Production Project" undertaken by a company in Jiangxi. The core content of the project is to construct a comprehensive project for the precise recycling and regeneration of spent lithium battery materials, with a planned annual processing capacity of 38,000 tons of spent lithium-ion batteries. This includes 2 precise dismantling and material regeneration lines for lithium iron phosphate, with an annual processing capacity of 20,000 tons;

Recently, the Jiujiang Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment in Jiangxi Province released the acceptance announcement for the environmental impact assessment report of the "Ruichang City Lithium New Energy Battery Material Regeneration Production Project" undertaken by a company in Jiangxi. According to the public notice, a new materials company in Jiangxi has a project investment of 60 million yuan. The construction site is located in the Ruichang Economic Development Zone in Jiangxi. The project involves constructing 4 production lines, including 2 precise dismantling and material regeneration lines for lithium iron phosphate, with an annual processing capacity of 20,000 tons;

On March 14, the Yichang Municipal People's Government and the Management Committee of Yichang High-tech Zone formally signed a cooperation agreement with Guangdong Brunp Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. Brunp Recycling will deploy new-generation lithium battery material projects, such as iron phosphate, in Yichang City, Hubei Province, marking a new phase of in-depth collaboration between the two parties in the field of new energy battery materials and recycling. Previously, Brunp Recycling had already invested in constructing a full-chain integrated industrial park in Yichang.

Recently, the CATL New Energy Battery Base Project (Jinchui Phase I) located in Badu Town, Jiaocheng District, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is scheduled to complete delivery by the end of April 2026. Jinchui Phase I involves a total investment of approximately 2 billion yuan, covering about 900 mu of land. It plans to construct approximately 370,000 square meters of new energy battery intelligent manufacturing standard factories and supporting auxiliary facilities. Upon completion, it will become an important production base for CATL in Jiaocheng District. CATL disclosed that its production capacity reached 772 GWh in 2025, with 321 GWh under construction.

New 1 Gwh Annual Battery Pack Project Added in Jiangsu The Yandu Ecological Environment Bureau of Yancheng City issued a public notice stating that the environmental impact assessment documents for the industrialisation project of a new energy battery system (with annual output of 1 Gwh of battery packs) had been approved. The project is located at No. 12, Group 3, Yuema Residents’ Committee, Yanlong Subdistrict, Yandu District, Yancheng, Jiangsu Province. The developer, Yancheng Baigu Energy Technology Co., Ltd., is expected to invest 30 million yuan to build the new energy battery system industrialisation project using existing premises. Upon completion, the project will have annual battery pack capacity of 1 Gwh.

Construction of the new energy battery production site project with annual output of 30 Gwh, invested in and built by Guoke Energy (Lanzhou New Area) Co., Ltd., has been progressing steadily. At present, foundation and earthwork construction for the battery cell plant has been fully completed, the EPC tender for the dedicated 110kV substation is being carried out in an orderly manner, and progress on the main steel structure construction of the plant has reached 30%.

Recently, in accordance with the requirements of the "Environmental Impact Assessment Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment" regarding the environmental impact assessment of construction projects, relevant environmental impact assessment information for the "Waste New Energy Battery Processing and Cascading Utilization Project of a Company in Yangjiang City" is now being disclosed to the public.

Recently, the signing ceremony for the high-performance battery aluminum foil project between Sichuan Yibin Sanjiang New Area and Anhui Jinyu Co., Ltd. was held. It is reported that Anhui Jinyu Materials Co., Ltd. specializes in the R&D and processing of aluminum series alloy materials. The company currently operates two entities—Tongling Jinyu Aluminum-Based New Materials Company and Anhui Jinyu Materials Co., Ltd.—with three factory sites spanning nearly 500 acres and employing approximately 1,200 staff. Its main products include air conditioner aluminum foil and new energy battery aluminum foil.
