Recycling Industry Events This Week (December. 29-31)

EVE announced that its subsidiary Hubei EVE Power Co., Ltd. plans to sign a contract with the Shayang County People's Government and the Administrative Committee of Jingmen High-tech Industrial Development Zone to cooperate on matters related to EVE Power's investment in and construction of a 60 Gwh power and ESS battery project in Jingmen City. The project is planned with a total investment of 6 billion yuan to build a 60 Gwh power and ESS battery project. The board of directors authorized the company's management to handle all subsequent matters related to this project and sign the procedures and documents related to this project.

On March 30, EVE Energy announced that its subsidiary, Hubei EVE Power Co., Ltd., plans to enter into a contract with the Shayang County People's Government and the Management Committee of Jingmen High-tech Industrial Development Zone regarding cooperation on the construction of a 60GWh power and energy storage battery project in Jingmen City. This project has a planned total investment of RMB 6 billion to construct a 60GWh power and energy storage battery facility. The board of directors authorizes the company's management to handle all subsequent matters related to this project and to sign the relevant procedures and documents in connection with the project.

EVE announced that the company planned to sign an Investment Cooperation Agreement with the Administrative Committee of Huizhou Zhongkai High-tech Industrial Development Zone regarding the company’s investment in and construction of the “EVE 60 GWh Energy Storage (Power) Battery Manufacturing Project” within the jurisdiction of the Zhongkai High-tech Zone Administrative Committee. The total investment in this project was approximately 6 billion yuan, with a land area of approximately 500 mu (subject to the actual land acquired through bidding, auction, and listing), for the construction of a 60 GWh energy storage (power) battery production site project.

This week (March 13, 2026–March 19, 2026), multiple enterprises in the solid-state battery sector were active: Dali Times commenced construction of a 2 GWh specialized semi-solid-state battery base; EVE’s Longquan Phase III/IV all-solid-state batteries rolled off the line in Chengdu; Chery released its 600 Wh/kg Rhino all-solid-state battery technology。

Recently, BYD's power battery project (Xixian base) entered trial production. The base has annual capacity of up to 16 Gwh, enough to support about 700,000 NEVs. Tianpu Technology's lithium-ion battery and system intelligent manufacturing project had a total investment of 10.5 billion yuan and was located in Ordos, Inner Mongolia. The project will build production lines with annual capacity of 50 Gwh for lithium-ion batteries and energy storage container systems, along with related supporting facilities.

According to lithium battery giant Zenergy (03677.HK), on March 17, Zenergy's 50 Gwh next-generation high-capacity long duration energy storage intelligent manufacturing project was signed and settled in Suzhou. Suzhou Municipal Party Secretary Fan Bo met with Cao Fang, chairman of Jiangsu Zenergy Battery Technology Co., Ltd., Chen Jicheng, president, and their delegation, and jointly witnessed the project signing.

CATL disclosed a sulphide patent, Zhongkeyuanben's 20Ah all-solid-state battery passed third-party detection, and Dreame Technology released a 450Wh/kg product; Guangdong took the lead in incorporating diversified solid-state battery technology routes and eVTOL scenarios into provincial-level action plans.
