The notice stated that in accordance with the principles of good survey foundation, comprehensive coverage of targets, and typical regional characteristics, six provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) including Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Tibet, and Qinghai were selected as pilot areas to carry out a pilot survey of wind power and photovoltaic power generation resources at the county level.
