Recently, the Mineral Resources Exploration Center successfully won the bid for the Yuanzhuang bauxite prospecting project in Yichuan County, Henan Province. This project, a provincial-level geological exploration project for 2026, aims to preliminarily determine the metallogenic geological conditions, ore body characteristics, and ore processing and beneficiation technical properties of the bauxite deposit through geological surveying, geophysical exploration, trenching, and drilling. It also seeks to understand mining technical conditions and estimate the inferred bauxite resources, providing a basis for further detailed exploration.
