(GAC Group) announced that its automobile production in July 2024 reached 156,816 units, a year-on-year decrease of 9.14%, with cumulative production for the year reaching 1,016,286 units, a year-on-year decrease of 25.79%. In July, automobile sales totaled 141,196 units, down 25.37% year-on-year, with cumulative sales for the year reaching 1,004,234 units, a year-on-year decrease of 25.83%. Among them, new energy vehicle production and sales were 34,890 units and 33,880 units, respectively, representing a year-on-year decrease of 26.31% and 32.15%.

May 20, 2024 13:47Hao Bo brand announced that the all-solid-state battery is set to be released, using 100% solid-state electrolyte, with high energy density, strong safety, and wide temperature range characteristics. This technology has transitioned from the laboratory to mass production applications. Guangzhou Automobile Group announced a breakthrough in all-solid-state battery technology at last year's Guangzhou Auto Show and plans to mass produce it by 2026, with Hao Bo being the first to adopt it. GAC Aion Lab has completed experimental verification of solid-state battery interface modification technology, reducing aging and maintaining battery capacity at over 90% after cycling. CCTV reported that the energy density of GAC Aion's solid-state battery has been increased from 300Wh/kg to 350Wh/kg, providing 3 times the energy in the same weight compared to conventional liquid batteries. This all-solid-state electrolyte product has appeared on the market ahead of schedule and has broken traditional perceptions of solid-state batteries.
