Galan Lithium (ASX: GLN) has been granted a new exploration licence E70/4889, along with prospecting licences P70/1702, P70/1703, and P70/1704 in Western Australia’s Greenbushes region. The newly acquired area lies directly over the world-class Greenbushes lithium mineralising fault zone, approximately 2 km from the main deposit, and adjacent to Galan’s existing Greenbushes South tenure, making it a highly strategic addition. The licence covers the main structural extension controlling the Greenbushes deposit and includes multiple structural splays and magnetic anomaly zones, providing high-potential drilling targets. This expansion offers Galan the opportunity to test geological continuity between the main Greenbushes deposit and its southern holdings. While progressing Phase 1 construction at Hombre Muerto West in Argentina, Galan plans to carry out a high-impact exploration program in Australia, including geophysical data review, ground-based magnetic surveys, soil and rock-chip sampling, and RC drilling in priority areas.
