According to the latest customs data, in July 2024, the import volume of refined zinc was 18,500 mt, down 16,500 mt or 47.17% MoM, and down 75.97% YoY.

Data released by the General Administration of Customs on November 20 showed that China’s refined zinc imports in October were 48,533.57 mt, down 8.59% MoM and up 4719.07% YoY.

According to the latest customs data, refined zinc imports in September 2023 were 53,100 mt, an increase of 23,800 mt or 81.52% month-on-month, and a year-on-year increase of 1,083.99%.

China imported 45,300 mt of refined zinc in June, up 153.06% on the month and 1,796.03% on the year. The imports totalled 98,300 mt in the first half of 2023, up 100.53% YoY.

According to the General Administration of Customs on May 22, China imported 15,676.61 mt of refined zinc in April.

China imported 12,700 mt of refined zinc in March, up 170.37% on the month but down 40.09% on the year. The imports totalled 19,300 mt in the first three months of 2023, down 53.75% YoY, while total exports of refined zinc during the same period stood at 2,400 mt. This pointed to net imports of 16,900 mt.

SHANGHAI, Apr 18 (SMM) – China imported 1,800 mt of refined zinc in January. The imports were 4,700 mt in February, up 158% MoM, but down 13.76% YoY.

SHANGHAI, Feb 14 (SMM) - According to customs data, China imported 7,900 mt of refined zinc in December 2022, down 31.79% MoM and 23.24% YoY.
