【GEM: Signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Anglo American Resources Group】 On January 25, GEM announced that the Singapore branch of Anglo American Resources Group Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Anglo American Resources Group, signed a "Memorandum of Understanding for Enhanced Nickel Product and Lithium Battery Material Processing Technology Research and Development Cooperation" with GEM. Under the global ESG value framework, the two parties will cooperate on a series of environmental, social, and governance initiatives related to responsible production and procurement of nickel and other battery products, as well as technical initiatives and business development solutions. This collaboration aims to promote and advance sustainable products and services for the global market, customers, and stakeholders, and jointly promote the goals of sustainable mining plans, optimizing the ESG cooperation value of both parties.

In 2023, the capacity of Kamoa Copper Mine, Tibet Dragon and Quellaveco Copper Mine will continue to be released, bringing an output increase of 100,000 mt, 50,000 mt, and 210,000 mt respectively.
