Overview:SHFE zinc futures prices moved higher day on day today. Downstream enterprises' fear of high prices persisted, and spot procurement remained need-based, resulting in overall mediocre performance. However, traders' quotes held firm at month-end, with spot premiums basically stable from the previous day. The SMM #0 zinc ingot price rose 110 yuan/mt day on day to 24,785 yuan/mt.
Downstream: market spot price offers remained basically stable from the previous session today, but due to poor end-user orders, the factory's raw material inventory was difficult to destock, and we remained on the sidelines today
Downstream: a quotation was received today for ordinary #0 zinc ingot delivered to the factory at a premium of 50 yuan/mt, basically stable compared to last Friday; however, as zinc futures prices rose, we planned not to purchase today
Upstream: there were no spot price quotations in Shanghai today, and market premium offers remained basically stable from the previous trading day
Trader: ordinary #0 zinc ingot spot transactions with next-month invoices were concluded at premiums of 10-30 yuan/mt against the SMM #0 zinc ingot average price today. Spot premiums remained firm, but with zinc futures prices rising in the morning, market trading was sluggish today
