Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze the dynamics of the local metals, mining, and commodities supply chains within Indonesia, tracking regional production capacities, operational status, and logistics updates.
- Gather publicly available market indicators and industry data points in strict compliance with local regulatory frameworks, corporate compliance guidelines, and international assessment standards.
- Conduct structured tracking and multi-dimensional analysis of Indonesian macroeconomic policies, export regulations, and downstream industrial shifts, providing timely internal updates.
- Maintain and systematically organize the local corporate contact database, ensuring consistent communication channels with domestic industry participants and stakeholders.
- Assist in the localized optimization of database systems, leveraging internal data tools and artificial intelligence to process, clean, and structure massive local market inputs.
- Contribute high-quality, objective localized market commentaries and regional news flashes, providing factual and clear perspectives on Indonesian market trends.
- Support the refining of country-specific supply-demand balance matrices and statistical models by supplying verified local production and inventory data.
- Contribute expert analysis and professional support to customized strategy consulting and data-driven market research projects, delivering high-value insights tailored to global client needs.
- Coordinate with global research teams to ensure alignment of data methodologies, participating in cross-border backup and operational continuity.
- Assist in organizing localized market engagement activities, industry seminars, and corporate site visits to enhance the company's regional institutional footprint.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, Economics, International Trade, Data Science, or a related field.
- Professional proficiency in English and native or near-native fluency in Bahasa Indonesia are mandatory to facilitate flawless high-stakes communication with local enterprises and global offices.
- Minimum of 1–3 years of analytical, market research, or operational tracking experience within the Indonesian metals, mining, energy, or industrial consulting sectors.
- Demonstrated capability in utilizing modern data tools, spreadsheet applications, or AI-driven productivity assistants to manage and process structured data sets.
- Strong fieldwork interest and cross-cultural agility to coordinate effectively with diverse industrial entities across different regions.
- High commitment to commercial ethics, with a clean professional record regarding anti-corruption and anti-trust compliance.
- Analytical mindset with strong report-writing skills, capable of transforming complex field observations into structured, logical data insights.
