To keep pace with the rapid development of the copper scrap industry and meet market demand for in-depth analysis of the secondary copper industry and copper cathode supply-demand pattern, we have deeply optimized our data models. We now systematically upgrade and adjust the data standards and content related to China's annual copper scrap supply-demand balance, and handle historical data as follows:

This upgrade mainly optimizes and updates the following indicators in the balance sheet:
Discontinuation of "SMM: China Copper Scrap Smelter Processing Consumption Ratio: Annual" and "SMM: China Copper Scrap Smelter Processing Consumption Ratio - Forecast: Annual". Historical Data Processing
Historical China copper scrap production has been discontinued since December 2025. It will be uniformly published under new standards going forward, with the new dataset tracing back to 2020.
