On the spot market, silicon suppliers had a strong willingness to hold prices firm, with low-priced cargo scarce. Coupled with downstream mainly making just-in-time procurement, few orders were concluded, and the trading center of spot cargo further shifted up. Supported by just-in-time orders, silicon prices will hold up well in the short term.
